With 35 characters on the playable roster, there's a good chance that a lot of your fighters still sit at low levels. Instead, you will earn 2,000 FM (on average) for leveling up characters through experience points. To preface this, it is worth pointing out that completing trials no longer directly gives you Fight Money. If you haven't already taken advantage of doing trials to score that Fight Money, then you can potentially earn a lot in a short amount of time, like I did. As we noted previously, you can earn 35,000 Fight Money through the new trials if conditions are right. Now, playing the new trials to earn Fight Money is a tactic we've covered before. So what's a guy to do when the colors he needs cost upwards of 100,000 Fight Money total and he's only got about 4,200 FM in the bank? The answer, my friends, lies in the heart of Street Fighter 5 Season 4's trials. Before the reduction, players saw one of the four challenges every week worth 2,500 Fight Money - and that was after the first reduction down from 5,000 for a single mission.
Being that Street Fighter 5 recently saw another reward reduction in the game's most popular and consistent way to earn Fight Money, weekly challenges, this makes acquiring those colors particularly tricky if you're like me and don't have a lot of FM saved up.įor context, the latest weekly missions will net you a whopping 1,300 Fight Money total. These colors can only be purchased with Fight Money, and they can cost a pretty penny.
Colors 11 - 15 for the default, Story, and Battle costumes are more elusive, though.
When it comes to colors 1 - 10 for the DLC characters, you can usually get them instantly by either simply purchasing the character (with either real money or Fight Money) or you can purchase color packs for the different costumes in the shop (again, real money being an option). I am 100% guilty as charged when it comes to wanting needing every alternate outfit and look for my main, and being that I have fully made the switch to G for Season 4, it was time for me to hit the in-game shop and pick up all of the colors I was missing in my collection.
